Bike Fest Forres

On Saturday the 23^rd September, Our peer support, Fiona, headed down to Bike Fest Forres in Grant Park, IV36 3BT 

Fiona hosted a Spinal Injuries Scotland stall at the free local event.

The day was arranged through Cycling UK and organised by Ian from Cooper Park Active Travel Hub, showcasing outdoor activities for everyone to enjoy with different adaptable bikes and ebikes for people to try out, ramps course set up for kids and adults to try and a spin bike to make smoothies!!

 

Fiona had a great day, engaging with the local community and highlighting the help the charity are able to give to folk looking to get out into the fresh air, whatever their ability.

also attending was Outfit Moray, Moray Council and Home Energy Scotland.
