Join Us for the Inclusive Aviation Workshop on Monday 17th June!

Edinburgh Napier’s Transport Research Institute are excited to invite you to participate in the Inclusive Aviation Workshop, an innovative event focused on the future of sustainable and inclusive air travel. Hosted by Edinburgh Napier's Transport Research Institute, this workshop is a key component of the HEART consortium's groundbreaking project aimed at revolutionising domestic aviation.

Why Participate?

The Transport Research Institute is dedicated to exploring and reporting on public acceptance, inclusion, and behavioural aspects of this pioneering initiative. As we develop small, zero-emission aircraft equipped with electric engines and hydrogen fuel cells, we seek to understand your thoughts and concerns:

Public Acceptance: Would you feel comfortable flying in these new aircraft? What are your concerns or hesitations?

Inclusivity: How can we design terminals that cater to people with varying capabilities, including those with low vision or physical movement restrictions?

Experience: How do you envision a more pleasant and efficient flying experience with minimal security lines and delays?

What to Expect:

During the workshop, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Learn about the latest advancements in sustainable aviation technology.
  • Provide valuable feedback on the design and functionality of inclusive terminals.
  • Discuss the potential of using smaller local airfields for economical and convenient point-to-point travel.

Your insights and opinions are crucial in shaping the future of air travel that is not only cleaner but also more inclusive and user-friendly.

We hope you will join us in this exciting journey towards a more sustainable and inclusive aviation future. Your participation will help ensure that the new aviation solutions meet the needs and preferences of all travellers.
