If you are attending a hospital appointment at the National Spinal Injury Unit, Glasgow during COP26 (31/10/21 - 12/11/21) and will come by car/public transport, please check www.getreadyglasgow.com to plan your journey

Ahead of appointments:

COP26, the UN climate change conference is starting in less than a month.  The Glasgow expressway will be closed to all traffic, making other roads busier.  Public transport will also be busy and subject to changes, so please remember this should you have to attend hospital or a pre-arranged appointment at this time.

The event, which will be held at Glasgow’s SEC, runs between October 31 and November 12 but delays are expected before, during and even after COP26 ends.

If you are going to be attending hospital during the period of the event, then please take a look at the Get Ready Glasgow website to check the travel information and plan your journey.   There will be major delays and you will need more time than usual. The website will be regularly updated with the latest road closures and alternative routes.
